1. Data Collection Architecture

We collect data across three vectors: Direct Input (account registration, payment processing details), Operational Data (your uploaded knowledge bases, system prompts, and chatbot configurations), and Telemetry (IP addresses, session duration, and device types logged automatically to optimize platform stability).

2. Utilization of Information

Your data is strictly utilized to power your business outcomes. We use this information to maintain conversational context, process secure billing, deploy critical infrastructure updates, prevent malicious abuse of our APIs, and provide you with actionable analytics in your dashboard.

3. Data Sharing & Sub-processors

Talkable has never, and will never, sell your raw data. Information is securely shared only with vetted sub-processors essential to our operations (e.g., Stripe for billing, AWS/Vercel for hosting). Crucially, chat inputs are passed to our LLM partners (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) purely for response generation. We opt-out of data training with these providers wherever commercially possible to protect your proprietary knowledge.

4. Cookies & Session Management

We deploy essential authentication cookies to secure your dashboard sessions and maintain login states. We also utilize lightweight analytical trackers to understand feature adoption. You may configure your browser to reject these, though doing so may degrade dashboard performance and accessibility.

5. Data Retention Lifecycle

Active account data is maintained for the duration of your subscription. Conversational transcripts and lead captures are stored for up to 12 months to fuel your analytics. Upon account deletion, we initiate a cryptographic purge of your personal data and knowledge bases within 30 days, retaining only legally mandated billing ledgers.

6. Infrastructure Security

We treat your business intelligence with enterprise rigor. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). We enforce strict internal access controls and perform regular vulnerability assessments. However, as no cloud infrastructure is entirely impenetrable, you maintain responsibility for your credential hygiene.

7. Your Regulatory Rights

Subject to your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), you command full sovereignty over your data. You may request access, correction, export, or total erasure of your personal records at any time. Talkable is a B2B platform designed for commercial entities. We do not intentionally solicit or collect data from individuals under the age of 13. Any inadvertently collected underage data will be immediately expunged upon discovery.

9. Cross-Border Data Transfers

To ensure global low-latency performance, your data may be routed through international server clusters. By leveraging Talkable, you consent to these secure transfers. We rely on standard contractual clauses and rigorous compliance frameworks to ensure your data is protected universally.

10. Policy Iteration

As our platform capabilities expand, this Privacy Policy will evolve. We commit to notifying account administrators of any substantive shifts in our data handling protocols prior to enforcement. Continued use of Talkable signifies consent to the updated policy.
